A Sea of Alone: Poems for Alfred Hitchcock features something a little different from me... My concrete poem "crop-duster" is influenced by two great Scottish makars, Ian Hamilton Finlay and Edwin Morgan, both of whom made significant contributions to the form. I had the pleasure of collaborating with Edwin on my own anthology, Nova Scotia: New Scottish Speculative Fiction, but I only knew I.H.F. through his work. The publication of "crop-duster" still seems to me like a debt repaid. Christopher Conlon's anthology includes poems by thirty-five authors and is published by Dark Scribe Press. A Sea of Alone: Poems for Alfred Hitchcock is available from Amazon. |
